On the horrific night of November 7, 2018, a mass shooting occurred in Thousand Oaks, California. Thirteen people were killed, including the perpetrator, while fifteen others were left injured. In this episode, we will hear from Forensic Scientist, Dennise Hernandez, as she recalls her night working directly on the crime scene.

Crime Lovers,

It has been an absolute whirlwind in crime scene investigation these last two weeks. We have been working two major cases back to back. I’m definitely running on an adrenaline high.

With that being said, I could only imagine the waves of adrenaline and emotion that were racing through my fellow CSI’s the night of November 7th, 2018 the mass shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill located in Thousand Oaks CA .

I had the honor of Speaking with Ventura County’ s Forensic Scientist Dennise Hernandez. She shared with me her experience of that night and the days that followed.
